IMPACT: Our supervised Program for girls and boys entering 12th grade!

We know that most teens want to use their summer as an opportunity to advance their future careers and we are proud to offer you that opportunity IN CAMP NAGEELA!! A supervised program to advance your career while in camp with your friends?!? YES!!!

The G.A.L.S. Internship Program (Gaining Advanced Leadership Skills) for girls, IMPACT (for boys) As the first year of staff at Camp Nageela, the GALS Internship Program/IMPACT provides the opportunity to step up in a mature position while receiving onsite mentoring to ensure their personal success both in camp and in carrying these skills further.

Our carefully designed program combines specialized internship opportunity with educational leadership programming. The internship aspect of the program has the applicant choose a specific staff position related to his/her career goals. The GALS/IMPACT assume full responsibility as staff and work under an experienced supervisor who guides and empowers them in their job. Certificates of are provided at the end of the summer.

August Internship Program for Girls: This program, organized in conjunction with Batya, is an optional continuation for participants of the July Internship Program. In this program, girls can receive an internship position in businesses and organizations in New York or New Jersey in fields including Education, Special Education, Geriatric Care, Health Care, Law, Therapies, Entrepreneurship, Sales, Food industry and more for the month of August. Positions will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants in the IMPACT internship program may also qualify for our new Israel Experience Grant and earn $2000 towards an approved Gap Year Israel program tuition. Learn more.
